From time to time, we receive requests looking for sailing instructors for summer camps and programs. Below is a request from YMCA Storer Camps. Here is an opportunity for summer employment as a sailing instructor. Any questions should be directed to Abimbola. Fajobi directly. They will start the hiring process in Mid-March.
YMCA Storer Camps is looking for a U.S. Sailing Certified Sailing Instructor or comparable sailing skills to teach sailing to camper aged 7 to 17 year olds. They are located on a 240-acre lake in Jackson Michigan and host approximately 1600 children over the summer, with 60-70 will desire to learn sailing over the summer. Candidates must be child focused, self-starting, hardworking and enjoy working with a team while supporting the YMCA Storer Camps summer program .
