Friends Good Will Ship Positions Available
 
Deckhand: Friends Good Will is looking for deckhands for the 2015 sailing season. Duties include sailing Friends Good Will for education sails, public day sails, and private charters, vessel maintenance, and short shifts in the museum gift shop. Pay is hourly and depends on experience. This is not a liveaboard position. The season runs from May-September.
 
Senior Deckhand/ Relief Captain: Friends Good Will is looking for a Senior Deckhand/ Relief Captain for the 2015 sailing season. Duties include sailing as Senior Deckhand for public sails, vessel maintenance, occasional short shifts in the museum gift shop, and serving as Relief Captain for two days a week during the mid-summer. Requires a 100 Ton Great Lakes Master. Must have previous leadership experience as a mate or watch leader on similar size vessels. Pay is hourly and depends on experience. This is not a liveaboard position. The season runs from May-September.
 
Shipboard Education Coordinator/Deckhand: Friends Good Will is seeking a Shipboard Education Coordinator/Deckhand for the 2015 sailing season. Duties include working with the Captain and Museum Director of Education to coordinate shipboard education programs and volunteer educators/crew, coordinating children's themed sails during the summer months, and performing regular deckhand duties as assigned by the captain. Previous shipboard or outdoor education experience is required. Pay is hourly and depends on experience. This is not a liveaboard position. The season runs from May-September.
