SailMichigan Collegiate Sailing Rankings - Nov. 14, 2011

The tabulated SailMichigan collegiate rankings for Midwest teams for Nov. 14 are below. These rankings reflect changes from the previous set due to the inclusion of results from the Timme Tune-Up regatta in Chicago. Unfortunately, data from the Team Race at Wisconsin (Nov. 5 & 6) could not be included as well, due to a lack of public availability of the scores. In addition, some teams excluded from the previous ranking have now been included because they have passed the 3 regatta threshold for inclusion. University of Illinois-Chicago makes its debut at position 4, while University of Chicago comes in at position 10. This week, Western Michigan slides below University of Minnesota, while Notre Dame slides up past Toledo. Overall, the top 5 have appeared to distinguish themselves from the rest of the pack while the others have jockied up or down a few positions due to close scores. Nationally, Wisconsin is currently ranked 14th in the Coed rankings published by Sailing World as of November 10th.

In-Conference team competition comes to a close for the Fall this weekend at the Timme-Angsten Memorial Regatta in Chicago. We'll issue final (Mid-Season) rankings short after results are posted.
