Some may notice that the Forum tab is no more and that this is not the Forum page at all. We established the SailMichigan Forum nearly two years ago as a way to foster communication and engagement within the Michigan sailing community. Although we've enjoyed some good posts, its use has not lived up to our expectations. Due to cost considerations, we have decided to let it sail off into the sunset. In its place we have decided to alter and enhance the SailMichigan blog (Pure Sail) as a way to generate discussion and highlight interesting stories and topics about Michigan Sailing. We would like to invite you to be an active participant. Send us a story about sailing on your lake, in your region, by your association, through your class, on a tall ship, building your own sailboat, or anything of broad interest to your sailing brethren and sisteren. Of course, we have final say on what goes up on the page, but well-written and interesting stories are sure to make it. Think of these stores as "posts or dispatches" from the sailing front lines, to serve as encouragement and education of others. Although we are not "sailing anarchists" we may throw out some topics which can stir the pot a bit.
